MUSIC PERFORMANCE

As a collaborative and solo performer, I am fascinated with audience engagement and interaction in musical performance and how musical communication connects with and differs with other modes of performance and communication.  I have been experimenting with how new technologies might be used to enhance an audience's experience of a musical performance through ambient motion graphics and new ways of projecting and translating song text.  For example video and a brief documentary, see the Songs & Light project site.

My performing collaborators include my sister, soprano Monica Schober, trumpeter Bill Williams, and the Motion Collaboration Studio in the Design & Technology program at Parsons the New School for Design (particularly Anezka Sebek and Ernesto Klar).

My coaches and teachers have included Adolph Baller (Stanford University), Aube Tzerko (Aspen Music Festival), and Armen Guzelimian.
